Faults and History

Faults reported by connected products

Connected product supervision: LPS Manager reports Compt@ir strikes, the faults reported by the devices and the follow-up of the 10-year warranty. Flag when an earth electrode resistance measurement exceeds the defined threshold.

A stable internet connection is essential for the service to work properly.

Push notifications

LPS Manager keeps you informed through push notifications in the app. With an LPS Strike Radar subscription, you receive a real-time lightning alert as soon as a strike is detected near your installations (continuous monitoring): a push notification in LPS Manager (event and project name) and an LPS Strike Radar email detailing the event. LPS Manager then prompts you to inspect the installation concerned.

Verification history

For each installation, LPS Manager gives access to the verification reports, Compt@ir strikes, reported faults and connected product data. The presentation is designed for quick reading and to make it easier to decide when to carry out standard and/or preventive verifications. The report shows the name of the user who validated it.

Installation Management

LPS Manager is an application that brings together the tools to describe, track and verify, on site or remotely, all types of lightning protection installations (lightning rods, surge protective devices, earthing…). Installation files, verifications and reports, connected product supervision, history and sharing help the owner, the facility manager or the lightning protection professional decide on the maintenance of a Lightning Protection System (LPS). Possible integration with your building management or supervision tools via API. LPS Manager does not certify the compliance of an installation and does not calculate the full IEC 62305-2 risk assessment: for this assessment, see lpsdesigner.pro.
