LPS Manager describes, tracks and verifies...
Each lightning protection installation is described in a file positioned on the LPS Manager map: lightning rods, surge protective devices, earth termination system, documents and history. Positioning the file on the map triggers the collection of meteorological data for the site. Creating a file is available from the Free version.
Connected product supervision: LPS Manager reports the strikes recorded by Compt@ir counters, the faults reported by the devices and the follow-up of the 10-year warranty. Compt@ir is a lightning strike counter. Paired with an internet-connected communication system (Contact@ir + Rout@ir, or Contact@ir MD), it lets you receive real-time notifications of strikes via LPS Manager (push notifications) and/or LPS Fleet (emails).
Push notifications
LPS Manager keeps you informed through push notifications in the app. With an LPS Strike Radar subscription, you receive a real-time lightning alert as soon as a strike is detected near your installations (continuous monitoring): a push notification in LPS Manager (event and project name) and an LPS Strike Radar email detailing the event. LPS Manager then prompts you to inspect the installation concerned.
Verification history
For each installation, LPS Manager gives access to the verification reports, Compt@ir strikes, reported faults, collected meteorological data and connected product data. The presentation is designed for quick reading and to make it easier to decide when to carry out standard and/or preventive verifications. The report shows the name of the user who validated it.
Preventive Maintenance
The verification and fault history of each installation helps plan the next lightning rod or surge protective device verification. Flag when an earth electrode resistance measurement exceeds the defined threshold. Installation health score: LPS Manager’s AI calculates a score from 0% to 100% based on the site, its lightning protection installation, its inspections and the lightning strikes recorded nearby.
