Standard, periodic or preventative verification of your lightning protection system
The standard, periodic, or preventive verification in LPS Manager is a process of description using photos, drawings, and written documentation. Using forms, the description proceeds from top (lightning rod) to bottom (grounding). Surge protectors can also be described to verify their condition. There is no limit to the number of conductors, grounding connections, and equipotential bonding points that can be described.
The verification report is available and shareable immediately.
Procedure for an inspection
The inspection of a site, including its lightning and surge protection systems and their grounding, can be carried out in two ways. It is possible to complete all tasks, from information gathering to report writing, on-site. Alternatively, it is possible to take photographs and notes on-site, then work calmly from an office.
Analysis of meteorological data
LPS Manager brings a new dimension to the verification of lightning protection systems. The meteorological data collected and the alerts received for a given case will provide valuable signals to consider during the verification process, allowing for precise targeting of potential defects.
History of verification reports
Each Lightning Protection System (LPS) verification report is recorded with its date. The verifier's contact information is also included for each report. This information is invaluable for rigorous LPS monitoring.
Site audit
The traceability of checks and the availability of reports will result in significant time savings during an audit. Activities and responsibilities are clearly defined.
Audit reports outside of LPS Manager
Verification reports are automatically generated and shareable. Whether in PDF format or via a web URL, sharing and saving are possible outside the application for all types of users ( LPS Manager users or not).
Audit reports in LPS Manager
The verification reports in the application contain a significant level of detail regarding the images taken or the verifier's notes. All users (free or paid) with access to the folder can view a verification. Previous verifications are also available to these users. Access to other folder data makes using LPS Manager more engaging and efficient than sharing a PDF or URL.
